The short version: your audio stays on your device, and we do not track you.

What we do not do

  • We do not upload your files. Every tool runs in your browser, on your device.
  • We do not ask you to sign in, and there are no accounts.
  • We do not set cookies.
  • We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party scripts, fonts or trackers.

What happens to your files

When you choose or drop a file, your browser gives this page access to it. It is read, processed and written back to a result file in memory or, for large results, in temporary storage on your own disk. Nothing is sent anywhere. When you close the tab or reset a tool, the files are released.

What this site stores on your device

To work well, the site keeps a small amount of data in your browser. It never leaves your device, and you can remove all of it with the button below.

localStorageaudiotools:theme and other audiotools:* keys
Your theme choice, and the options you used last in a tool, so they are there next time.
IndexedDBdatabase audiotools
A temporary hand-off when you send a result to another tool. It is removed as soon as the other tool opens it, and anything older than one hour is deleted whenever a page loads.
Cache Storagecaches named audiotools-*
The AI model used by the vocal remover (about 172 MB), downloaded from this site once so it does not have to be downloaded again.
Origin private file systemfolder audiotools-tmp
Temporary space for large results while they are being written. It is cleaned when a result is discarded and when the tools start.

Microphone

The voice recorder, tuner and spectrum analyzer can use your microphone, and only on those pages and only after you click. Your browser asks for permission first, and you can revoke it at any time in the site settings. Audio from the microphone is processed on your device and is never sent anywhere.

The network

The site is served by Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare may keep standard request logs (for example IP address, requested page, time and browser type). We do not add anything on top of that. Pages, code, fonts and the AI model all come from this site's own domain, and your audio is never part of a request.

Check it yourself

Open your browser's developer tools and look at the Network tab while you process a file: there are no uploads.
